"ARCH AND ACERBIC, WITH SHOCKERS ALONG THE WAY"

By Adam Nicolson

By the end of this month this new approach to reading the essays of Virginia Woolf should be on the shelves.  On January 26, in the London "Evening Standard",  Adam Nicolson wrote, in part,  "You can get the essays and the Common Reader free online nowadays, but the virtue of this edition is that the editor quotes long and fruitily from Woolf's diary and letters.  Alongside the essays, he allows you to see the process by which they were made."

Can't wait to pick up my copy!
